Group Facilitator

Stefanie Men has an educational background in Human Services and Human Communications. Primarily focused on group facilitation overseeing university students. In these roles she has led process groups, helping students explore heavy emotional topics and coached students to learn the nature of the therapeutic interaction and crisis intervention.

She has experience working in mental health treatment centers, working with clients who struggle with substance abuse, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. She currently holds a certificate in domestic violence which has augmented her trauma-informed approach.

Stefanie is very passionate about educating her clients to help build their self-awareness and confidence. She does this by developing meaningful relationships with her clients first in order to establish trust and understanding. She uses a combination of Yalom and Gestalt framework with clients, while incorporating CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques.

“I create a non-judgmental safe space and ask thought-provoking questions that help scratch the surface of underlying issues. I give clients the space they need to process their experiences. My role as a Group Facilitator is to guide discussion and provide resources to help clients build their self-awareness, establish strong boundaries, and create emotional resilience.”
