Dr. Jonathan Haidak

Dr. Jonathan Paul Haidak (Dr. JP) earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in sunny San Diego. Dr. JP is currently a Registered Psychological Associate, and soon to be licensed as a Clinical Psychologist. Dr. JP completed his APPIC Pre-doctoral internship working at an inpatient residential treatment center for adolescents in San Diego. Dr. JP completed his Post-Doctoral working for the state of CA in one of their southern districts CONREP programs as a Forensic Clinician. He continued his training working as the Assistant Program Director for one of San Diego’s Crisis Homes, and later transitioned to becoming the Program Director for one of San Diego’s largest mental health non-profits. Dr. JP has provided therapy to children, teens, and adults, and specializes in dual diagnoses, trauma, addiction, ADHD, behavioral issues that stem in adolescence, as well as mood disorders (including Bipolar I and II), and anxiety. Furthermore, Dr. JP is trained to work with personality disorders and psychosis.

Dr. JP uses primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) mixed with a Humanistic Approach for his clients to feel empowered with who they are, and works with his clients to see and achieve their greatest potentials. Furthermore, Dr. JP is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which he incorporates into his sessions, along with Super Hero Therapy. Dr. JP is currently being trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Dr. JP also teaches and practices Martial Arts, in addition to his fascination with collecting US Coins and spending time with his 3 dogs.
